This release brings AI classification for doors, windows, and walls, AI Bookmarks in PDF exports, and contextual search with Caddie. We’ve also improved everyday workflows across measurements, reports, and project navigation.
AI classification for doors, windows, and walls
You can now classify doors, windows, and walls using Rename with AI, making measurements easier to organise and review.
For doors and windows, AI reads element IDs from the drawing. When no ID is available, it identifies the element’s visual type, such as a sliding door or a casement window.
For walls, AI analyses construction patterns, nearby labels, and drawing context to classify the wall. It can distinguish wall sections above doors or windows where the drawing provides enough information, while separating opening tags from dimensions.
AI Bookmarks in PDF exports
AI Bookmarks now stay with your drawings when you export them to PDF, making shared files easier to navigate.
Bookmarks are grouped by sheet under a single AI Bookmarks heading. Each bookmark opens the corresponding drawing area with its original position and zoom.
You’ll find Include AI Bookmarks in Export → PDF. It’s enabled by default, and you can turn it off before exporting.
Contextual search and counting with Caddie
Ask Caddie to “Find all K/L/D labels in Unit 3.2.” It uses the drawing’s layout and text to find matches within that unit, without including the same labels elsewhere on the sheet.
Review the highlighted results, then create count markers directly from the matches.
Cleaner counts from text search
When creating count markers from text search, Caddie now uses identified drawing regions by default. Matching text in schedules, legends, and title blocks remains searchable but doesn’t create extra count markers unless you explicitly ask to count within those areas.
On sheets without identified drawing regions, counting uses the whole page.
Improvements and fixes
We’ve improved Caddie’s reliability, added undo and whole-Skill editing, and fixed issues across measurements, reports, and drawing navigation. This release also improves large-project responsiveness, resolves project access issues, and makes trial terms clearer before you start.
