We are excited to bring back a highly requested feature – Reports in Separate Tab – as a full functionality in our roadmap. This feature was previously available in beta and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from our users.

The ability to open reports in a separate tab offers significant advantages in terms of productivity and workspace organization. When reports are displayed within the main application, it can sometimes feel cramped and limit the ability to effectively navigate and utilize the drawing and takeoff tools.

With reports in separate tab, users can open their reports independently of the main application, allowing them to maximize the space available for drawing and takeoff tasks. This enhanced flexibility enables users to maintain a clear and clutter-free workspace, promoting focused work and efficient workflow.

Furthermore, the ability to view reports in a separate tab extends to different screens. Users can easily drag and drop the report window to another monitor, creating a seamless multi-screen workflow. This flexibility is particularly beneficial for users who have multiple screens dedicated to specific tasks, allowing them to seamlessly switch between drawing, takeoffs, and report analysis without compromising productivity. For single screen users this can also be useful, a report in a separate tab can help maximise drawing space, and a quick switch between windows can easily return to a report or project.

The reintroduction of reports in separate tab firmly demonstrates our commitment to listening to our users and incorporating their feedback into our roadmap. We are dedicated to providing our users with the tools they need to maximize their productivity and achieve their project goals.
