Working in the File manager

File Manager is the storage for your PDF and CAD drawings. Also, here you can set up any kind of folder structure necessary for you.

To open the File manager, pay attention to the very top of your working area in 2D Takeoff. There you will see your current drawing. Once you click on the plus button near it, the File manager opens.

Press the "Upload New Files" button, if you need to add new files to this project.

You can perform the following manipulations with your drawings in the File manager:

  1. Renaming files.
    To do this, hover over the drawing's name and click on the pen icon near it.

  2. Removing files.
    To do this, hover over the drawing's name and click on the bin icon.

  3. Duplicating pages.
    To do this, press the menu button on the relevant page and select the option.

  4. Creating new folders.
    To do this, click on the "Add new folder" button.

  5. Dragging and dropping drawings / folders to folders.
    Create any kind of nested structure you need in the File manager by dragging the files and folders to the necessary level.

  6. Creating folders in folders.
    To do this, hover over the folder's name and click on the folder button.

  7. Loading files in the particular folder.
    To do this, hover over the folder's name and click on the plus button.

  8. To open the relevant file, click on it in the File manager. If the file is a multi-paged one, select the page you need to work with.

  9. While working with multi-paged documents, you can delete unnecessary pages. To do this, click on the menu button placed at the bottom of each page and select the option "Delete" there.

  10. Selecting or deselecting all the files. To do this, click on the relevant option at the top of the File manager.
